IB DP CHEMISTRY

Charan Graduated from Carey Baptist grammar in 2023, having undertaken and excelling at the international baccalaureate. He obtained a score of 45.5 equating to the maximum possible ATAR of 99.95. As such he has achieved high 7s in each of his subjects both at higher level and standard level: Biology (HL), Chemistry (HL), Geography (HL), English language and literature (SL), Spanish ab intio (SL), Maths analysis and approaches (SL). He has also obtained a total of 5 subject prizes (top of the year level) towards the final year of the IB and an A in his extended essay in Geography.

Despite being such a strong student towards the end of the course, this was not the case when Charan initially began the IB. As such, he has found ways to adapt study techniques, refine resources and carefully construct methods of attack for each individual subject in a way that can bring success to any student. His other hobbies and extracurricular activities during high school include public speaking & debating as well as tennis. Currently he is pursing the Doctor Of Medicine course offered at Monash University.

Stanley graduated from the Queensland Academy for Health Sciences in 2022, excelling in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme with a score of 44/45.  He achieved 7s in all his Higher Level subjects: Economics, Chemistry, and Biology. Additionally, he earned the full 3 core points with an A in his Biology Extended Essay, which involved extensive research and primary data collection. Stanley's Extended Essay project was shortlisted as a finalist at the Australian Science and Engineering Fair (AUSSEF). This recognition led to his representation of Australia at the 2023 Regeneron International Science Fair (ISEF) in the Earth and Environmental Sciences category.

Currently, Stanley is pursuing his studies at the University of Melbourne with conditional entry offers into the Doctor of Medicine, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine programs. His passion for the sciences, and his academic achievements are a testament to his effective study and revision methods. Stanley understands that different subjects require unique teaching, and learning techniques. He tailors each lesson to the individual needs of his students, focusing on the understanding and application of concepts to ensure academic success. Sabeer graduated from Townsville Grammar School, completing the IB diploma program. He scored a 43/45, scoring a 7 in all his Higher level subjects which were Mathematics Analysis and Approaches HL, physics HL and Economics HL. In addition, he did his extended essay in mathematics, receiving an A.

Away from Sabeer’s academic pursuits he also was keen and pursued several extracurricular activities. For sport, Sabeer rowed at the schools first rowing teams and was in charge of a variety of community service clubs throughout high school. He has a passion for the sciences which he would love to share with his students. This combined with his desire to inspire and unlock the hidden potential within each student will ensure that your child will gain a greater understanding of the subject.

Zuvhir graduated from Westbourne College Sydney in 2022 with the IB diploma. He has achieved the following:

• IB Diploma: Outstanding 44/45 (ATAR 99.8)

• Higher Level 7s: Maths AA, Chemistry, Physics with raw scores 90, 85 and 87 respectively

• Full 3 core points

• Current Second year Medical Student & First Year Dux
